Ability to organize and complete daily stops in the field. Requires being organized, regionalized and being detail-oriented with good ledgable hand writing for paperwork is required to be filled out daily.
Foreman must be able to situate special request from customers and management each day, with a follow-up and completion.
Requires being efficient with equipment repairs and general maintenance to all equipment used to perform services.

A landscape construction foreman is needed in South Glens Falls, NY. The foreman manages, coordinates, and monitors the performance of the crew so that the company's quality standards are obtained.
Founded in 1991, Toadflax is a landscape design/build firm. We design and construct all aspects of the outdoor environment, catering to high end clients throughout the Saratoga, Adirondack and Capital District Region. In conjunction with our landscape division, Toadflax also has a large retail nursery, garden center, and production greenhouses.
Job Requirements Qualified candidates will possess:
A degree in Horticulture, Landscape contracting, or related major, and a minimum of 3 - 5 years landscape construction experience, to include but not limited to: Stone Masonry, Plantings, Grading and Drainage.
Horticultural knowledge, Leadership potential, and an Aptitude to train.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail while maintaining budget parameters.
Strong communication skills between clients, designers and crew.
Ability to read and implement design specifications and plans.
Proficiency in the use of all landscape equipment.
Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of Irrigation and Landscape Lighting a plus.
